KASHMIRI PULAO
Kashmiri pulao is a unique and popular kashmiri rice dish prepared with dry fruits, nuts and fresh fruits and tinged with saffron and spices.This mouthwatering dish gives a pleasant sweetness taste.This dish is perfect for get together and small parties.
🕜Cooking Time : 30 minutes Serving People : 4 to 6 Ingredients:
- 2 cups wash and soak basmati rice
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Cloves - 2 nos.
- Cream - 1/2 cup
- Water - 4 to 4 1/2 cups
- Cardamom - 2 nos

- Bay leaf - 1 pcs
- Ghee - 2 tsp
- Saffron - a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Cloves - 2 nos
- Kishmish (raisin)
- Pista
- Badam (almonds)
- Coriander leaves to garnish
- Fruits - pomengrate
- Clean the rice .Soak the rice in water for 10 minutes.
- Mix milk ,salt ,sugar ,cream and saffron.
- In cooker heat the ghee and add cardamom,cinnamon,bay leaf,cummin seeds and cloves.
- When they splutter add rice and fry in ghee for 2 mins.
- Add milk mixture and water.
- Close the cooker by boil cover and lower the heat simmer till cooked.
- Open the boil cover garnish it with dry fruits,pomengrate and coriander.
- Serve it with curd or raita.
