Dabeli Masala
HOMEMADE DABELI MASALA

Preparation Time: 15 min Make : 1.5 cup
Ingredients:
- Black Cardamoms ( Badi elaichi) : 2
- Kashmiri red chilli powder : 2 tsp
- Cumin seeds : 2 tsp
- Coriander powder : 3 tsp
- Cinnamon (dalchini) : 1 stick
- Cloves : 4
- Fennel seeds : 1 tsp
- Black peppercorn (kalimirch) - 1 tsp
- Star anise (chakri phool) : 2
- Bayleaves (tejpatta) : 2
- Grated dry coconut kopra) : 1 cup
- Dry red chilli : 3 pcs
- Sesame seeds (till) : 1 tsp
- Black salt : 1 tsp
- Sugar :1 tsp
- Oil : 1 tsp
Method:
- Combine coriander powder, cumin seeds, bayleaf, fennel seeds, cloves, black peppercorn , cinnamon, cardamom, dry coconut, dry chilli, sesame seeds and star anise in a non stick pan mix it well and roast on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Remove the mixture in a plate and allow them to cool.
- Once cool add black salt, sugar and red chilli powder.
- Blend it in a mixer till it smooth.
- Transfer the mixture in a bowl.
- Add oil and mix it well with a spoon.
- Store in a air tight container in a fridge . Use as require.
